In just a few days my best little girlfriend will be 4 years old?! Whaaat?!
It seems like just yesterday that I was FINALLY looking at a positive pregnancy test! If you’re unfamiliar with our journey to babies you can read my infertility story HERE. Not so coincidentally we will also celebrate #nationalrainbowbabyday on Gigi’s bday, August 22nd! When I founded that special day I of course planned it on my little rainbow baby’s birthday.
A rainbow baby is a child born after a miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death or infant loss. It’s a beautiful blessing after a heartbreaking journey. I am the proud Mama to TWO special rainbow babies and that’s why I’m so excited to celebrate #NationalRainbowBabyDay again! It’s a way to honor all the lives that renewed our spirits after tragic loss. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you are still waiting for your rainbow, I hope this day fills you with hope and allows you to connect with others who have been where you are. We are all here to support and love on you. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
