You Do You

I still remember the days I prayed for what I have now. I think about those days often and I truly believe they’re why I’m able to experience so much joy in motherhood.

Even in the most mundane things, there is always a reason to find gratitude.

When you don’t feel like cooking dinner think of the over worked mom who’d give anything to stay home from her second job to prepare a meal.

When your kids are driving you up the wall and you want to runaway think of the women who aren’t able to have a baby.

When you have no motivation to clean your house think of the family living on the streets.

If I’ve learned anything in life especially on my infertility journey it’s that in life everyone is struggling. Everyone is dealing with something hard. Everyone has insecurities, doubts and flaws. We all have bad moments or bad days or bad seasons.

And that’s ok! We’re only human, we’re not perfect and sometimes life is unfair.

In those tough times, I’ve realized all it takes is one small moment of gratitude to change your mindset.

One of my dearest friends and former Fox 10 co-anchors Andrea Robinson has created, You Do You a daily gratitude journal, that just might change your life.

If you’ve ever kept a journal before then you know just how cathartic writing down your thoughts can be. A moment of peace in an otherwise chaotic day that can truly make an impact on your outlook.

And even better the journal comes along with a community of people rooted in positivity and hope and love. I’m proud to join this group thats realizes gratitude is where it’s at!

Yes to all that! Wanna join us? Get a copy of the You Do You Journal here! Join me here Thursday 9/19 at 11am for a Love Rant on Facebook Live.
